Mount Gahinga

Mount Gahinga is part of the chain of the Virunga Mountains studded in the Albertine rift at the border of Uganda, Rwanda and the DRC. Of the eight Virunga Mountains, Gahinga is the smallest and simplest to climb. Standing at 3,473m high, Gahinga can be climbed to the top in about 4 hours. Hiking up and coming back down takes 5-8 hours. Its trail passes through the afro-montane and bamboo vegetation of Mgahinga Gorilla national park. You therefore have a chance to spot some of the wildlife in the gorilla park.

Sipi falls hiking trails

The Sipi falls hiking trail is about 7kms long. The highlight for this hike is to get to the beautiful Sipi falls. These falls are located in eastern Uganda near Mt. Elgon.
