7 Days Uganda Primate and Wildlife SafariDay One: Kampala – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Leave Kampala for Bwindi and have a stop over at the equator for photographs and to experience a tropical balance and also visit the craft shops to buy souvenirs, proceed to Bwindi with lunch break on en route. Arrive at the destination; check in at your accommodation for dinner and night.

Day Two: Gorilla Trekking

After breakfast the drive will drive you to the park headquarters for briefing before you go trekking of the rare mountain gorillas through a true African tropical rain forest. This creates a thrilling experience observing these gentle giants feed, groom, as you take photographs in one hour with them then return to the meeting point after having lunch in the forest. In the evening you can go for a community walk to learn about people’s culture, and people’s way of life. Return for dinner and night relaxed.

Day Three: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Have breakfast then leave bwindi for Queen Elizabeth national park famously known for its highest number bio-diversity through the southern ishasha sector where we can spot the tree climbing lions then continue to the northern part of the park for dinner and an over night stay.

Day Four: Game Drive & Boat Cruise

After an early morning wake up tea or coffee, set off game drive along the kasenyi plains in search of lion, elephants, spotted hyenas, Uganda kobs among others. Return for a full breakfast and relax. After lunch you prepare for an exciting 2 hour boat cruise on the kazinga channel where you will be able to see animal and bird species in a close range and also for clear photographs.

Day Five: Transfer to Kibale National Park.

After breakfast, we shall transfer to kibale national park where you can have a stop over at Toro kingdom palace to learn about their culture, story telling and entertainment. Have lunch in fort portal town then visit the craters lakes and proceed to your lodge for dinner and night.

Day Six: Chimpanzee Tracking

Early morning breakfast then we will gather at the meeting point for briefing before we go for chimpanzee tracking lead by a ranger guide who will lead you into the tropical rain forest for this wonderful experience though viewing them is unpredictable because they are mobile. Through the forest walk you will see the red tailed monkeys, L’hoests, grey cheeked mangabeys, black and white colobus. Return to the lodge for lunch and in the afternoon go for a nature walk to bigodi swamp where you will view more primates and bird species.

Day Seven: Kibale National Park – Kampala

After an early morning breakfast, prepare for transfer back to Kampala/ Entebbe.
