Day One: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
Early morning depart from Kampala to Murchison falls national park. Have a stop over at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Nakasongola to track the endangered white rhinos and also have lunch then proceed with your journey. You will arrive in the late afternoon and check-in in any accommodation then enjoy a night there.
Day Two: Game Drive & Bird Watching
After your morning breakfast, take a ferry to the northern bank for a game drive. After your lunch break at Para, opt for a Launch trip to the bottom of the falls, passing hundreds of Hippos, crocodiles as well as birds. View the Black-headed Plover, Red-throated Bee-eater, Spotted Morning Thrush, Abyssinian Ground Hornbill and many others. Have an early morning breakfast then go for birding on a game drive to the delta with like malachite, blue breasted, stripped, common bulbul, and woodland among others.
Day Three: Birding on the Royal Mile
After your morning breakfast you will proceed to Royal Mile in Budongo forest for birding on foot with packed lunch and look for species like dwarf kingfisher, yellow-footed flycatcher, guinea Congo forest biome, black throated apalis, brown twin spot, yellow created woodpecker, purple headed sterling among others. You will also see primates like the chimpanzees, black and white colobus, red tailed and blue monkeys then return to your lodge in the evening for relaxation dinner and over night.
Day Four: Murchison Falls – Kampala
Have breakfast, check out and drive back to Kampala with an en route lunch stop over and drop off at your hotel.
