Lake Katwe

This crater lake is famous for salt extraction, it is found in queen Elizabeth national park with in Mweya peninsula in western Uganda close to a volcanic mountain. Lake Katwe is a salty lake featuring various tributary streams with inlets but no outlets thus leading to a lot of salt production. Lake Bunyonyi is about 900 Metres deep, it is situated in kabale – Kisoro district, it is about 25 kilometers long and about 7 kilometer wide. Lake Nyinambuga

Kyaninga Crater Lake

The lake is located adjacent to Kyaninga lodge that is found at the summit of the crater hosting a serene beauty above the crater. Lake Nkuruba

This ionic lake is situated with Mountain Rwenzori and Kibale forest national park.
