Day 1: Transfer from Entebbe International Airport

Enjoy a delicious morning breakfast, later meet and greet with our company representative at your hotel of residence in Kampala to Entebbe. Set off for an 8-9 hours’ drive to the mist Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park situated in the south western region of Uganda. The park hosts half of the remaining endangered Mountain Gorilla population in the world. The journey to Bwindi forest is a long one but extremely fascinating allowing you to get lost in the glimpse sight of the mesmerizing scenic landscape beauty of the pearl of Africa. The journey gives you a chance to explore the intriguing rolling terraced hills of Kabale region known as the “Switzerland for Uganda”.

Delight in an option stopover at the Uganda Equator and continue with the journey. Enjoy lunch en-route at Igongo Culture Centre in Mbarara and later embark on your journey to Bwindi forest. Upon arrival, check in at your booked lodge in the park for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking experience and a transfer to the beautiful Lake Bunyonyi

Wake up early for a cup of coffee, get ready with your packed lunch boxes. Later take a drive to the park headquarter offices for briefing before you begin the trekking. Here you are assigned the park Ranger Guide to take you through the trek and protect you in case of an attack from the wild animals in the park. it is at this point that you are grouped into groups of eight and transfer to the starting point. At exactly 8:00 am you begin off the trekking in the jungle of Bwindi forest.

It is important to note that locating a gorilla family can take 30 minutes to 8 hours of the day depending on the movement of the gorilla family. Therefore get ready for both by carrying enough drinking water, snacks/ lunch boxes to help you finish the trekking. Trekking the mountain gorillas requires some level of fitness and the activity is strenuous but extremely fascinating at the end of trek.

You are allowed to spend one hour with the gorilla family from the time you encounter with it. Here you enjoy taking photos, study and learn more about their exciting daily lifestyle these gentle creatures in their natural habitat.  After the unforgettable memory experience, return to the park headquarter to pick your certificate of participation and contribution in conserving the mountain gorillas. Later depart back to the lodge, enjoy a late lunch and relax.

After take a transfer from Bwindi forest to the ionic Lake Bunyonyi the most beautiful and deepest lake in Uganda dotted with intriguing numerous Islands. Upon arrival check in at your booked lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Boat/canoe ride on Lake Bunyonyi and a transfer back to Kampala

Enjoy an early morning breakfast at your lodge, later head out for a boat cruise experience on the amazing lake Bunyonyi. Here you get an insight to explore the several dotted islands, meet and greet with the local people, birding and the enjoy scenic beauty of the lake. return to the lodge and join your driver guide for a transfer departure to Kampala. Delight in an en-route lunch in Mbarara before you proceed the journey. Upon arrival you are transferred to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: White Water Rafting Adventure experience in Jinja

Enjoy your early morning breakfast and alter depart for a 2 hours journey to Jinja -the Adventure Capital of East Africa. Along the way you get an insight to explore the largest tropical rainforest in Uganda called Mabira Forest. The massive forest harbors exciting numerous bird species as well as primate mammals.

Upon arrival in jinja, meet up with rafting team for briefing and later jump in the vehicle for a drive at the starting point. While here, grab a chance to enjoy another brief exercise that gives you confidence to get familiar with the white Water rafting experience. Feel free to inform the rafting team about which grad you would prefer to experience, this can be either grad 3 or grad 5 rapids before you begin your adventure. The Rafting experience lasts for about one to three hours and at the end of the experience celebrate the experience with a refreshment offer from the Rafting company.

After the remarkable adventure experience, join your driver guide for transfer back to Kampala where you arrive in the evening at your hotel in Kampala. Here relax, enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: An Optional Kampala city Tour and a departure back Home

Enjoy a relaxed morning with a leisure breakfast at your hotel in Kampala then later head out for an optional Kampala city tour. the tour allows you to visit some of the interesting attractions in Kampala such as ; the Kabaka’s place, the Uganda Museum, Namugongo Martyrs Shrine or choose to take a visit to an orphanage or school among other attractions of your choice. Return to the hotel for Lunch and later we transfer you to Entebbe International airport to catch up with your flight to the next safari destination or a scheduled flight back home.
