The 2 Days Kibale Chimpanzee Trekking Safari allows you a chance to search for the close relatives to the human beings- the chimpanzees that have habituated for tourism. The tour allows you to meet with other 13 primates in the forest such as; Olive baboons, monkeys and bird life. 2 Days Kibale Chimpanzee Trekking Safari

Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Kibale Forest National Park

Wake up for an early morning breakfast, later meet with our company representatives and begin the journey at 7:00 am driving through Mityana main town, Kyenjojo, Mubende and the green tea plantations as you proceed to Fort Portal. Enjoy a delicious en route lunch in Fort portal main town and later proceed for an extra drive covering a distance of about 45 Kilometers to the famous Kibale Forest. upon arrival check in, enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking Experience and a Departure Back to Kampala

Wake up early for a cup of coffee and head to the park headquarter point for briefing at Kanyanchu before you begin the trekking. Waking early gives you a chance to spot the chimpanzee family when they are moving out of their nests and track them as they start their day daily activities  of feeding, playing while jumping from tree to another and learn more about their lifestyle. During the tracking experience, grab a chance to meet with other primates such as; white and black Colobus monkeys, L’Hoest monkeys, Red tailed Monkeys, grey cheeked Mangabey plus numerous bird life species.

Your chimpanzee trekking experience ends around mid-day therefore you return to the lodge to check out and take a drive to Fort Portal town for lunch and later depart for Kampala via the Mubende route.
