The 2 Days Golden Monkey Trekking Safari allows you to explore Rwanda- the land of a thousand Hills. The tour takes you to Volcanoes National park home to fascinating primates including a population of over 2500 Endangered Golden Monkey species that have been habituated ready for tourism. 
Here you have a chance to search for a troop of habituated Golden Monkeys and spend an hour with them while taking photos and learn more about lifestyle in the Jungle.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival, City Tour and Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Upon arrival meet and greet with our Company representative who briefs you about your 2 day Golden monkey safari. Later head out for the Kigali city Tour which allows to explore Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre, city Markets, the presidential palace as well as craft shops. Enjoy Lunch en-route along your journey to the magical Volcanoes national park.
Enjoy the scenic beauty of the numerous rolling Hills of Rwanda and meet with local people working on their gardens. Upon arrival check in at your booked lodge for dinner and an over night stay

Day 2: Golden Monkey Trekking Experience and transfer back to Kigali International Airport
Wake up early and enjoy a delicious breakfast, later join your driver guide for a transfer to the park briefing point in Kingi headquarters of the park about the dos and don’ts while trekking the Golden Monkeys. Later at around 8:00 am begin off the trekking with your park ranger guide to search for the golden monkey. It is important to note that the trekking does not last for long due to the fact golden monkeys can easily be located in about 2-3 hours. Trekking golden monkeys in Volcanoes national park offers you a chance to enjoy the scenic views of the spectacular five virunga mountains sharing borders with Volcanoes National park.
After locating a golden monkey you are allowed to spend with one hour as you follow them jumping from tree to another. These wonderful creatures have gotten used with the presence of Human beings, therefore free to take with them memory photos on your safari. After the wonderful experience, return to the Lodge for a transfer back to the lodge. Enjoy Lunch, check out and enjoy a your departure trip back to Kigali International Airport to catch up with your scheduled flight or to your Hotel of Residence in Kigali.
