Only about 1,060 mountain gorillas are known to be surviving on earth today in Uganda, Rwanda and the DRC. The 3 Days Uganda Gorilla Trekking Safari takes you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park which hosts approximately half of the population of the mountain gorillas. With highest chances of about 98% to spot the apes, trekkers enjoy every second in the tropical forest looking for them with the ranger guide as they come across other residents of the forest like monkeys and lots of forest birds alongside the scenic views of the areas around the park. This forest was originally inhabited by the Batwa pygmies and this is a great chance to meet them and get an insight of their lifestyle and culture.
The tour offers an opportunity to go for an impressive boat cruise on Lake Bunyonyi and watch the rolling hills in the background and multiple Islands on the lake.
